Lindz Amer makes queer stuff for kids!

Lindz created their beloved LGBTQ+ family webseries Queer Kid Stuff in 2016 which now has 4M lifetime views and counting! They are the author of the nonfiction parenting book “Rainbow Parenting: Raising Queer Kids and Their Allies” (St. Martin’s Press), the picture book “Hooray for She, He, Ze, and They! What Are Your Pronouns Today?” (Simon Kids) and host of the Rainbow Parenting podcast.

Their work has been featured by them.us, ForbesGood Morning America, Kidscreen, NBCOut, Teen Vogue, Shondaland, New York Mag, and Parents Magazine among other publications. The Huffington Post calls Queer Kid Stuff a “groundbreaking YouTube educational resource.” Teen Vogue praised their episode on consent during the height of #MeToo that “shows exactly why there’s no excuse not to grasp consent. Even toddlers can understand it.” And one time @shondarhimes tweeted she’s “so here for this!”

Currently, They create tons of content and perform at schools and libraries across the country, while running their business—Queer Kid Stuff! They are an in-demand writer and consultant in the children’s media space and have worked on multiple upcoming series with Nick Jr., Wildbrain, Spin Master, and more! Their work on the viral Blue’s Clues & You “Pride Parade Music Video ft. Nina West” earned a 2021 Webby Award and their consulting work on WildBrain’s Strawberry Shortcake series earned a 2023 GLAAD Award nomination! They’ve written for The Fabulous Show with Fay and Fluffy, the Blues Clues & You Nursery Rhyme series, Face’s Music Party, and created the first nonbinary character in the Paw Patrol universe on the spin-off show Rubble & Crew!
